On your first visit to our office, our friendly staff will help take care of the paperwork and check insurance benefits on your behalf. The doctor will review your medical history and will perform a thorough examination and digital x-rays (if necessary) to determine the underlying cause of your pain. After analyzing your history, examination and any imaging, the doctor will determine whether you are a candidate for treatment. The doctor may order advanced diagnostic testing, such as MRI and CT, if needed. When necessary, patients are referred to other specialists.
The doctor will explain the diagnosis and recommended treatment options and answer your questions prior to beginning treatment. The doctor will also estimate the amount of care that is necessary and how much it will cost. Our staff will estimate the portion of your care that will be covered and how much you can expect to pay out of pocket. Patient financing options are available. Our office participates with most insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, South Carolina State Health Plan, Federal Employee Blue Cross, Blue Choice, Cigna, Medcost, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Medicare.
We will begin treating you as soon as possible to get you fast relief.
